Season's Greetings from the Vice-Chancellor's Office

To all our friends this holiday season,

Here at Macquarie, we celebrate the work and success of others – the young minds that begin the journey that will one day lead them to become our teachers, scientists, and artists; the University academics that help us to understand our world and our place in it - and, in a season of gift giving, our universities remain one of the greatest gifts a society can give to itself.

In keeping with the spirit of Christmas – and something that has become a tradition – we will use the money we save from sending this email (instead of a greeting card) to go towards scholarships for students from low-income backgrounds.

Please accept our best wishes for the holidays, and for a healthy, happy, and peaceful 2012. Thank you to all staff and students and our friends for your excellent contribution to the University this year, and we look forward to a great year ahead.

Season's Greetings from all of us in the Vice-Chancellor's Office!

Steven, Claire, Bron, David, Jacinta, Kris, Kylie and Ryan
