It's lights, mic and all action at tomorrow night's 2010 Poetry Slam

The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor's Poetry Slam is back again for a night of literary delight. Performers are given two minutes in the spotlight to speak, scream, howl or even whisper an original poem, rap or story . . . whatever they want to do with words.

Judges are chosen randomly from the audience and the winners will scoop $1,800 in prizes, not to mention the adoration of a live audience.

Everybody has a story to tell. Come along and watch the Slammers in action. You might even be chosen as an on-the-spot judge.

Legendary verse spinner Miles Merrill will play host once more with performances from Morganics and the current Australian Poetry Slam Champion, Sarah Taylor. The night will also feature a funky and hilarious soundtrack spun by comic DJ Tom Lowndes.

Bookings are essential. Save your seat by registering now.
