Macquarie University Research Development Grants Scheme – Now Open

The Macquarie University Research Development Grants Scheme is now open for applications. The Funding Rules and Application form are available on the Research Office website at: http://www.research.mq.edu.au/researchers/funding/internal/mqrdgs/.

The purpose of the Macquarie University Research Development scheme is to enable researchers to develop basic or strategic research projects into proposals for submission to the ARC Discovery-Projects or NHMRC Project Grants schemes, or to develop applied research projects into proposals for submission to the ARC Linkage Projects scheme. Application for substantial external funding in the year following the final year of MQRDG funding is a Condition of the Grant Award.

Submission:
The closing date for receipt of both hardcopy and electronic applications in the Research Office is Friday 24 April 2008. Applications must be submitted via the Dean’s office - please refer to the relevant Divisional officer for Divisional hand-in dates – see
http://www.research.mq.edu.au/researchers/funding/internal/mqrdgs/ for Divisional contact details and other submission requirements.
