Staff consultation of proposed changes to DVC and COO portfolio, and Review of Student Services

Following the resignation of Paul Bowler, the University commissioned Waterview Consulting Pty Ltd to review the structure reporting to the role of DVC and Chief Operating Officer (COO).  The Executive have considered and discussed the report.  As a result, the University is proposing to make some changes to the structure reporting to the DVC - COO role. 

The change proposal attached outlines these changes and where relevant, the changes to other senior roles taking up a new function.    The change proposal is attached and feedback is sought by 6 July 2009. Further information and an opportunity to discuss this proposal will be provided by Tim Sprague - Director Human Resources when the venue is confirmed.  
 
The Executive have also approved a Review of Student Service Processes.  The review scope, participants and time-lines are also attached for your information.  More information on this review will be provided by the DVC Provost as the review progresses.
