2011 Macquarie University Research Award Winners
The 2011 Macquarie University Research Awards were presented to winners at a special awards event held on campus on 12 October 2011. The awards reinforce Macquarie University's commitment to become one of Australia's leading research universities by 2014 and to acknowledge the role staff play in this aspiration. The awards spanned the full spectrum of research activity at Macquarie University.
The awards consist of a framed certificate plus a cash prize. Each winner receives a cash prize of $2,000 for an individual winner and $3,000 for a team. The prize can be taken as a non-taxable cash payment or paid into a research account.
The judges were extremely impressed by the high quality and range of submissions, which made selection, even of the shortlisted applicants, quite difficult. All applicants are to be congratulated on their achievements.
