Your Library on the Move
The new Macquarie University Library will be fully operational on 1 August 2011. We would like to invite you to join us for ‘behind the scenes’ lunch time tours of the new Library during June. These tours will give you a preview of the new Library prior to its opening.
Learn more about the many innovative features of the new Library including the sustainability and design aspects of the building, the dedicated higher degree and postgraduate spaces and Australia’s first library based automated storage and retrieval system.
Currently some of the study spaces are being used in the new building but they are just the beginning and much more of the Library is yet to be opened.
This is a very exciting time for us and we look forward to seeing you there. Note that these tours are for Macquarie staff only and that students will be provided with library orientation tours when the Library opens.
When: Daily; Monday to Friday, from 6 June to 1 July.
Where: C3C new Library forecourt
