Online PDR

The Performance Development and Review (PDR) process is now online and running. All Staff and Supervisors should have planned – or be close to finalising – their performance and development objectives for 2012.

Information Sessions

Additional information sessions have been scheduled to demonstrate the online PDR process. You are welcome to attend any session. Seating is on a first-in-best-dressed basis.

Professional Staff Information Sessions

  • Monday 26 March 2012 – C4B (HR), 12.30–2pm
  • Thursday 29 March 2012 – C4B (HR), 12–1.30pm

Academic Staff Information Sessions

  • Monday 26 March 2012 – C4B (HR), 2pm– 3.30pm
  • Wednesday 4 April 2012 – C4B (HR), 11.30am – 1pm

Next Steps

To complete your 2012 PDR, please follow the steps below. Note – your 2011 PDR should still be completed using the existing paper forms.

Professional Staff

Your Supervisor starts the PDR process by drafting your performance and development objectives for 2012. Once your Supervisor has drafted your objectives, you will review and edit/ add to them before your Supervisor confirms your PDR plan.

Action required: Supervisors of Professional Staff please meet with your team members and log in to the online system, called Talent at Macquarie (TAM), via the PDR website to complete the first step:

Academic Staff

You start the PDR process by drafting your performance and development objectives for 2012. Once you have drafted your objectives, your Supervisor will review and confirm your PDR plan.

Action required: Academic Staff please meet with your Supervisor and log in to the online system, called Talent at Macquarie (TAM), via the PDR website to complete the first step:

Casual, Short Term Contract, and Probationary Staff

Casual staff and staff on a fixed term contract shorter than 12 months do not need to complete an annual PDR. Probation is still to be conducted using the existing paper forms.

Please let your Staff Member/ Supervisor know when you have a completed an action and the PDR is then sitting with them. Note – you can check the “status” of a PDR at any time by logging in to the system (via the PDR website): http://staff.mq.edu.au/human_resources/performance_development_review/
