Internal Vacancy/Secondment Opportunity
There is an internal vacancy/secondment opportunity in Human Resources for an Equity & Diversity Officer (offered internally in the first instance). The role will be:
* HEW 7/8 contingent on the experience of the successful applicant
* Part Time Fixed Term.
* 2-3 days per wek until the end of 2008 (flexible hours).
Working closely with the Manager, Equity & Diversity, this role will be engaged in a range of activities including policy revision, web publishing, event management, and administrative support. Ideally you will have experience in the following areas:
* Policy revision and documentation
* Website publishing
* Event coordination and management
* Coordination and leadership of focus groups (needs and experience)
* Secretarial duties for the Equity and Diversity Advisory Committee
* Administrative support for the Manager, Equity and Diversity and project consultants as required
