New Learning and Research Centre Library - Commencement of Early Works
On Wednesday 3 December 2008 the early works contractor for the project, A W Edwards Pty Ltd will commence the preliminary early works for the project. This work will consist of preparatory works to enable excavation to commence early in the New Year and will include fencing around the C4C cottage in readiness for demolition, signage in relation to traffic management, relocation of the southern portion of Central Avenue to the east of the cottage and the removal of trees within the fenced area only. Refer to the attached plan for details.
As a consequence of this work, access will not be possible along the bitumen footpath between buildings C4C and C4B for the duration of project construction. Parking relocation will be as follows - accessible parking and service bays will be located in front of Building C5A and allocated parking will be located in the E1 carpark.
