• Staff and student eWaste recycling days - 2013-04-26

  On Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 May, Macquarie University, in partnership with Sims Recycling Solutions, will be holding eWaste Recycling Collection days on Campus, as part of Earth Day Celebrations.

• C7A refurbishment: changed access conditions - 2013-04-10

  Acces through the breezeway of C7A and its dock will be prohibited during the refurbishment work due to commence tomorrow 11 April 2013.

• Closure for C7A Library dock and accessway - 2013-04-03

  The C7A loading dock and access way (including stairs) will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians from Thursday 4 April in preparation for the internal demolition works for the MUSE project.

• Asbestos material - 2013-03-25

  Earlier today the University was advised that there may be asbestos material on a walkway on the southern periphery of campus, not far from Dunmore Lang College.

• C7A interim refurbishment - MUSE - 2013-03-21

  A long term strategy for the redevelopment of the old library is being planned, and in the meantime an interim solution is proposed to utilise the space until the commencement of the redevelopment construction.

• Y3A power shutdown - 2013-03-11

  There will be a full shutdown of all electrical and communication services in building Y3A from 6.45am to 12pm on Sunday 17 March, 2013.

• University Avenue bus stop temporary relocation - 2013-02-28

  From Tuesday 5 March, the bus stop will be moved down University Ave to be level with the Cochlear car park / Gumnut Cottage driveway. Read more . . .

• Resetting the compass - a better and more intuitive wayfinding strategy and a new approach to building naming - 2013-02-20

  Over the last two years Property has undertaken a significant review of wayfinding across the entire campus including academic, commercial and research areas.

• Macquarie Theatre AV system training - 2013-02-14

  Prior to the commencement of Session 1 2013, AVTS will be conducting AV system training for the newly refurbished Macquarie Theatre (W2.4A).

• Y3A power shutdown - 2013-01-29

  On Saturday 9 February, there will be a complete shutdown of all electrical power to building Y3A from 7am for 10 hours (approximately 5pm).

• New Macquarie Park ramps on M2 Motorway - 2013-01-16

  Stage two of the Hills M2 Upgrade has been completed and the new Macquarie Park ramps will open on January 17, 2013, providing better access to the M2 for Macquarie University staff and students.

• Electrical Equipment Testing and Tagging - 2013-01-04

  Property have organised SPA Trade Services to commence testing electrical equipment from Monday 7 January 2013.

• Facade clean for C7A - 2012-12-14

  Building C7A (the old library) will be receiving a face lift over the Christmas period with a thorough façade clean.

• Restricted access to X8 carpark - 2012-12-10

  The X8 car park, located on the north-eastern end of Wally's Walk, is being used for special event parking from Friday 14 December 2012 to Wednesday 2 January 2013 inclusive.

• Macquarie Theatre construction completed - 2012-10-25

  Macquarie University Property is pleased to announce the completion of building works for the refurbishment of the Macquarie Theatre.

• Mars Creek Rehabilitation Works - 2012-10-02

  Commencing on 2 October and continuing through to early December, Mars Creek will be undergoing rehabilitation works.

• New cleaning contractor and full University clean - 2012-09-28
