The Why and How of International Conferences
Access MQ, The University’s commercial arm, in conjunction with the Sydney Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB), wishes to invite you to a FREE luncheon seminar about how to increase your professional profile by holding your international conference in Sydney on Thursday 14 August 2008 at the MGSM (Amphitheatre 103) from 12 noon - 2pm. Light lunch will be provided.
The Seminar is titled 'The Why and How of International Conferences'. Guest speakers include Jon Hutchinson AM (Managing Director of SCVB) and Dr Noel Barton AM (CSIRO Mathematical and Information Sciences - CMIS)
The Seminar will discuss how hosting an international conference can:
· Showcase your department’s achievements
· Increase your profile in the national and international arena
· Enhance your personal industry recognition
· Generate profit to contribute to further research and education
· Exchange ideas and educate your associates
