Sustainability Fair Workshops
Sustainability@MQ and U@MQ are holding a Sustainability Fair from 11am-2pm on 12-14 August. Two of the events require pre-registration by interested persons. Inner Sustainability and Sustainability by degrees or decree? address different aspects of sustainability and are sure to provide participants with a great opportunity to get in touch with sustainability.
The first workshop, Inner Sustainability, is being held in the Lindsay Room, level 3 of the U@MQ building from 12-1pm on Tuesday 12 August. This workshop will help you check if your personal lifestyle is sustainable. Come along and listen to Uli Joswig, a corporate coach and Yoga teacher, help you to discover your inner balance. In attending Uli's workshop you can expect:

● A free worksheet
● Lots of fun!
● Some simple physical exercises
● Win a free fitness test
● And the Ahaa…Effect

The second workshop, Sustainability by decree or degrees?, is also being held in the Lindsay Room in the U@MQ building, from 1-2pm on Thursday 14 August. This session provides opportunities to clarify understanding of sustainability amongst Macquarie students and academic staff and to develop the necessary support. With all the change Macquarie University is currently undergoing in learning and teaching, this session provides a space to discuss what the inclusion of sustainability into the curriculum means. Interested staff and students are invited to share a light lunch and work with us on this initiative. Please register your interest in attending, or your inability to attend but interest in finding out more, by emailing sustainability@mq.edu.au.
