Sustainability Fair

Staff are invited to attend the University’s Sustainability Fair this week and receive expert advice on practical ways to live more sustainably.

Run by Sustainability@MQ and U@MQ from August 12 to 14, the fair will feature guest speakers, demonstrations, sustainability stalls and live entertainment.

Experts attending the fair will cover everything from organic produce and sustainable waste management, to native vegetation and water conservation.

Fair exhibitors will include Green Tomato Cars, Cartridge World Ryde, EcoSmart Hot Water, the Nature Conservation Council of NSW, ProDive Manly, Tribes and Nations, EcoFarms, Astrids Bushtucker, The Wilderness Society, Moral Fibre, A Taste of the Bush, the Department of Environment and Climate Change, City of Ryde and Sydney Water.

The fair is part of the University’s commitment to embed sustainability into the campus culture and will run from 11am to 2pm each day in the University’s Central Courtyard and the U@MQ Lindsay Room.
