Ride To Work Day Reminder
It is now only one day before National Ride to Work Day 2008, to be held on Wednesday 15 October.
If any of you who haven't registered yet have ever thought of riding to work or lectures, this is the day to give it a go. Thousands of new riders are expected to join in from all parts of Australia. Regular riders will be on hand to help you plan your journey and provide invaluable tips Tell me which suburb you will be riding from and I will put you in contact with other rides traveling in the same direction. Just ask me and I'll do my best to get you started. There's also a host of information and resources at www.ride2work.com.au and information specific to our Macquarie Ride on www.ofm.mq.edu.au/ride2work.htm.
The first step is to register online at www.ride2work.com.au.
Here are four great reasons to do it now:
1) Go in the draw to win one of 16 Trek bikes courtesy of Trek Bicycles Australia. Details and photos on www.ride2work.com.au.
2) Don't let your team down! Help Macquarie University win a jersey pack courtesy of Trek as part of the TravelSmart Workplace Challenge. Our Team Code is 912843.
3) Enjoy a free breakfast at Macquarie University on the lawns between Building C5C and Building E5A/B.
Please remember to use Team Code 912843 when you register so that you are counted as part of our Workplace Team tally.
For assistance with planning your trip and terms, and conditions on the above offers, see www.ride2work.com.au. Any questions can be directed to Leigh Gibbens at lgibbens@ics.mq.edu.au
