Macquarie University Singers presents "War and Peace"
Macquarie University Singers, our own campus community choir, will present magnificent choral works by Gabriel Faure and Josef Haydn reflecting the theme of War & Peace on Saturday 31 May, at 7.30pm in Macquarie Theatre. Discounted tickets are available for Macquarie staff, students and alumni.The concert features distinguished soloists Penelope Mills, Helen Sherman, David Corcoran and Stephen Bennett, and a wonderful orchestra comprising professional, youth and community orchestra members from across Sydney and beyond. The performance will be conducted by Margot McLaughlin, who this year celebrates 21 years as Musical Director of Macquarie University Singers. For more information, visit www.mus.org.au
