E Waste Disposal Day

There will be an E Waste Disposal Day on 22 May 2008 from 10am-3pm at the U@MQ Building, C10A, Level 0, Room 065. 

The entrance is via loading bay at the west end of building near the National Australia Bank, access by vehicle is via Gymnasium Rd off Culloden Rd.

All divisions and offices are responsible for: 

# asset deletion documentation, as per the University Asset policy.
  
# data sanitization or hard disk destruction. A loan copy of DISK-KILL sanitization software is available from IT Services - log a call with ITS service desk ext 4357 option 2.
  
# transport to holding area on 22 May between 10am-3pm.
 
If for any reason you have items that are too large to transport, eg photocopier, large printers etc, please log a call on the ITS service desk, ext 4357 option 2.
