Beyond the Breakers Talks
As part of the current Beyond the Breakers exhibition, four special talks are being presented in the University Art Gallery, Building E11A.
o Libby Eyre, from the Department of Biology, on “Conversations with Humpback Whales”, on Wednesday 3 December, at 6pm, and again on Friday 5 December, at 1-1.45pm;
o Ben Pitcher, PhD candidate, from the Marine Mammal Research Group, on “Talking with Seals: Understanding the Threatened Australian Sea Lion”, on Thursday 4 December, at 1-1.45pm; and
o Dr Andrew Simpson, Director of Museum Studies, on “Why we need Science in the Art Gallery”, on Wednesday 10 December, at 1-1.45pm.
Tea and coffee will be served following the presentations.

University staff are also reminded that morning tea sessions can be held in the Gallery during the display of Beyond the Breakers.
