Health and Chiropractic Research Symposium

The Department of Health & Chiropractic would like to announce to all staff and students next week's one-day Research Symposium titled "Healthcare Research and its impact on Practice".
 
The Research Symposium is being sponsored by the Department of Health and Chiropractic, Macquarie University, the Advisory Board, The Chiropractic Alumni Association, and the CAA-NSW chapter. The symposium will be held on Tuesday 19 August at the U@MQ Building, Level 3.

The invited Keynote Speaker is Prof Anthony Rosner from the United States.  The keynote topic will be 'Chiropractic Research: History, Strengths, Weaknesses and Implications for Integration in Healthcare Delivery'. The keynote address will be at 8pm.

Other invited speakers are:

6:30pm: Professor Chris Maher from The George Institute for International Health, Sydney, Australia, who will present a paper on 'Allied Healthcare research in Australia'.

7:15pm: Dr David Cahill, President of The Australian Spinal Research Foundation

Registration is optional, however a point of registration will be open at the venue for any Chiropractor wanting to obtain CPD points for these Seminars.
