External Email Delay
Due to a recent SPAMMING incident originating within a Division of the University, Macquarie Email addresses were Black Listed by multiple ISPs.
The impact of this was that some external emails may not have been delivered or received or will be delayed until the Black Lists are lifted, and the back logs sent/received.
ITS have been identifying the ISPs who have been Black Listed the university and working to have these reversed. As of close of business yesterday (27 May) most of the larger ISPs that we had identified had removed their Black lists. The back log of emails resulting from this are expected to clear within the next 24 to 48 hours.
